Oahu Charter Fishing Boats
Full USCG safety package including: Satellite EPIRB, life jackets, flares and first aid kits.
After hours of scouring the internet and reading website after website and checking in on all the fishing forums you have decided that the North Shore of Oahu is the place to fish. Now all that’s left is to pick a boat… So how do you choose? The LIA C is a classic 36ft Luhrs Sportfisher. In recent years she has been fully restored to her original beauty! In the summer of 2016 the original diesel motors where removed and a custom aluminum bracket/swim platform was added to her transom to support a brand new 2017 Yamaha 350HP outboard. Converting her over to an outboard has made her the quietest and fastest charter boat in Haleiwa, and has eliminated the exhaust smell that is common with some diesel motors.
The LIA C has a extra wide beam measuring 12ft which is more common of larger boats in the 45-50ft range. This wider beam allows anglers more room to move around during the day and adds to the comfort of the large cabin area. The main cabin has a large, nice sitting area with padded bench seats and a table that makes for a great eating area. There’s also a large bunk in the main cabin and two more in the lower V berth. The head (bathroom’) is large and clean and has fresh running water for washing up. The back deck of the LIA C is very roomy and has two large bench seats and a full size fiberglass hard top that keeps you shaded throughout the day. There’s fresh and salt water wash downs for a quick clean up after the action and a big Marlin door that steps out onto the swim platform. Heading up the stairs to the flybridge you will find the captain’s control station, two padded pedestal seats and a bench seat that can sit 2-3 more people. The LIA C is outfitted with all necessary electronics, outriggers, live bait well, and a full array of tackle.
Will it be in good working order and able to help land that fish of a lifetime? Our tackle is top notch and we have plenty of it. We use only tournament quality reels from Shimano, Penn and Avet. Our rods and reels vary in size to handle the largest of billfish well exceeding 1,000 pounds right down to the smallest of game fish in the 10-25 pound range. We have a vast selection of artificial lures and bait fish to catch whatever is biting in a variety of conditions and seasons. The LIA C can hold over 2000 pounds of fish (just in case). We spend more on ice each day than most people spend on gas for their car in a week to insure that the fish is kept fresh. Every day The LIA C leaves the harbor, she is prepared to do battle with as many fish as her captain can find. Every piece of tackle is routinely serviced and maintained. You can be confident that when you hook up on your fish, our tackle will be up to the challenge.
The LIA C is routinely inspected by her owner to make sure that after each outing we are doing our jobs to wash and scrub her decks, walls, head, and cabin to remove salt spray, food, trash and fish. Their standards are drill sergeant high. And everything is sparkling clean, dry and odorless all of the time. But don’t take our word for it, come down to the harbor and see for yourself. We will be happy to show you around! The LIA C and all her crew fully complies with all United States Coast Guard regulations.

Grand Slam is a 47 foot Hatteras. Originally a 43 footer, she was extended four feet on the transom. This gives her extra room on the deck for fighting the big ones. Twin 400 horse power Cummins let the Grand Slam push through the waters off of Haleiwa. The Grand Slam came from Kona where she was known for being a great strike boat. She saw more than her share of big marlins.
Grand Slam has all of the latest electronics that a fisherman needs. The fishing tackle ranges from light, 30-pound class, to heavy, 130-pound class. The heavy-duty fighting chair can handle all of the big ones, while stand up gear can take on the smaller game.
The cabin boast of the most luxury of any boat in Haleiwa. Amenities include a head (toilet), two air conditioners, microwave, couch, chairs, bunks, stereo and much more. We welcome all type of anglers from beginners to seasoned professionals to come and experience a Grander Pacific Blue Marlin zipping off the end or your rod. You will experience the adventure of a lifetime with family/ friends on the beautiful ocean in this paradise in the pacific.
